Lead IT Security Solution Developer - Government Agencies

Lead integrated, cross-functional teams to analyze security risks and vulnerabilities, develop alternative solutions, create plans, and carry out actions to address security risks.
Key Functions
- Develop and recommend integrated security system solutions that will ensure sensitive and classified data and systems are protected.
- Lead review of technical, management and operational security controls to ensure the completeness and effectiveness of information technology security systems and solutions.
- Manage projects and relationships with clients to ensure that security and business requirements are included in technical designs.
- Ensure proper configuration and validation of IT systems. Participate in developing work programs with new customers, and in some customer project activities such as assessments, position papers and special studies.
- Function as subject matter expert in creation and review of deliverables; apply practices and standards of quality assurance to individual and team deliverables.
Education/Experience:
BS degree in CS or a related field required, security certifications strongly desired. Minimum of 5 years experience in security planning, security policy or certification and accreditation.
Required Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform information security risk analysis and solution development.
Demonstrated abilities in:
- Information system planning, program development, and regulatory and statutory requirements for multiple federal IT systems and programs preferred
- Requirements definition, analysis, conducting customer interviews, and leading tasks
- Security planning, requirements evaluation and implementation preferred
Clearance: positions require ability to obtain US government security clearance, which requires US citizenship.
